Camryn + Justus’s Charlotte NC Wedding
Camryn and Justus’s classically elegant wedding at The Ballantyne Hotel in Charlotte North Carolina was one for the books! As a full wedding planning and design couple, we spent months with these two curating their vision and building an incredible team of vendors to pull everything together, and come the weekend of their wedding it was beyond worth all the time put into their incredible day!

We kicked off the festivities with their rehearsal dinner the night prior at Carmel Country Club which was no small affair. The two had a large portion of their guest count traveling in from out of area, so as tradition, hosted their rehearsal dinner for everyone who would be in town that evening.
With a lively shuttle full of eager bridesmaids and our adorable bride, we got their rehearsal dinner off on a lively foot.
Camryn and Justus had a wonderful plated rehearsal dinner where we got to see them full of so much excitement for the next day, and got to see all their guests giving the biggest hugs and happy wishes to our soon to be Mr. and Mrs.
Even the toasts given that evening had everyone laughing and in happy tears later on in the evening!
With full hearts we sent our sweet couple off for the night to get a sound nights sleep before the big day to come!
Now for the day they spent YEARS waiting for!
As usual, our lovely ladies had an early start to the morning. When I tell you this was one of the sweetest and liveliest group of women given the hour they had to be up and getting ready, I promise I’m not over exaggerating. One of the most warming sounds a wedding planner can hear is the sound of a happy and excited bridal suite!
With a much later start our gentleman got to enjoy the morning and relax before “suiting up.”
Camryn and Justus had some of the sweetest details captured by their photographer, to include a custom invitation suite as classic and crisp as our bride and groom.
We continued Camryn + Justus’s Charlotte NC Wedding day with first looks with Camryn and her father, Camryn and her bridesmaids, and then finally, a first touch and private vow reading with her groom, Justus. Each moment was so special in its own way, and is always a moment we are so honored to sit on the sidelines for with tissues in hand.
As if these two couldn’t get any sweeter, Camryn read a letter that Justus wrote when the two were only 18 years old! Not a single heart in the room wasn’t touched by this private moment!
With all of our pre ceremony adventures coming to an end it was time to prepare for their ceremony. While all of these wonderful moments were happening for our sweet couple, our team was busy overseeing our vendor executions and ensuring that all the months of planning, designing, meetings, and adjustments all came together flawlesly!
There truly is nothing like the anticipation of a couple just prior to their ceremony, especially when they have not seen one another that day. Once guests were seated we gathered up our processional party and prepared to send everyone down the aisle, and were then able to witness such a joyous ceremomny!
Once these two were married we were off to cocktail hour and their reception. Their ballroom design was hands down one of our absolute favorites to do! Keeping classic with a primary color of white, accent color of black, and then pops of pink really made Camryn + Justus’s Charlotte NC Wedding a modern twist on classic bones. We had white linens laid on all guest tables with a black napkin in the ever so classic waterfall fold. We pulled in elevated flatware, glassware, and a stunning glass charger with a black rim to bring our table-scape to completion. All of this really led to our florals popping off of the table, bringing a fullness to the overall ballroom design.
To add to our high touch design points, Camryn just knew we had to have some sort of floral installment, and after several ideas and designs later, we came to this stunning piece that hung over their custom dance floor, and it was a massive hit with guests!
From florals, to table-scape, Camryn + Justus’s Charlotte NC Wedding was full of custom touches that had their guests talking all night.
Camryn + Justus’s Charlotte NC Wedding was so full of love and laughter. The entirety of their reception guests were laughing, cheering, and jumping right in on all of the fun. From a lively grand entrance to a cake cutting and thank you from our bride and groom, you couldn’t have asked for a more stunningly classic evening! The best part? Our couple had one hell of a party and exit planned!
Most brides will consider a dress change at some point in the night. Camryn and Justus settled on a dress, hair, and shoe change that had all the back end vendors so jazzed and had their guests loving their adorable party look!
At the end of the night we gathered their guests and headed to our grand exit! Guests were given biodegradable confetti, and our team oversaw the setup of two cold spark displays for our bride and groom to end their exit between before getting into their getaway car for the evening! I have to admit, one of my favorite grand exits to execute and watch!
